how we can change the single phase supply to three phase supply with the help of capacitors?

sir,i came to know that some peoples are using electrical equipments with capacitors ,that will change single phase supply to three phase supply.as per theory how it is possible,since single phase phase angle is 90 deg. whereas three phase phase angle is 120 deg. please explain with technical details.

What they are doing is using a capacitor to allow them to rotate a 3-phase motor, using a 1-phase power source.

They are not generating 3 phases, they are generating a 2nd phase through the capacitor that is, as you surmise, approximately 90 deg. out of phase with the main.

The 90 degree phase can be applied to one of the phase inputs of a 3-phase motor (while the main power is applied to another phase), and the motor will rotate. The power output of the motor and efficiency will be greatly reduced versus using actual 3-phase power, but useful power may be obtained.

When a 3-phase source is not available, this is an alternative method to using a 3-phase motor.
